Hanging with Daddy!
Tom thought this picture was funny. Alexandra isn't happy with me for taking so many photos of her. She is discretely telling us how she feels.... I refuse to write it in the blog, but Tom wanted me to point this out. She is so sweet!
um, why?
At Lexi's last appointment, the doc decided it was necessary that I refrain from eating dairy and soy while I'm breastfeeding. Ok, so that means I have nothing to eat... I've never wanted pizza, ice cream, chocolate, cheese, or cookies more in my life. My diet now consists of rye bread, turkey, rice milk and oatmeal... You have got to be kidding me?!?! Will there be a day when something in my life will just be normal? I'm not complaing because Lexi is precious and I will give up anything for her, but seriously...
Here is picture of her sleeping while wearing her ducky bib. She pukes all day, so bibs are now a requirement for her wardrobe.

Pumpkin Patch with Lexi!
We had a fabulous day at the pumpkin patch. We picked the perfect weekend to make the trek to the suburbs. It wasn't too busy and the weather was perfect. Lexi spent the entire time tied to Daddy's chest. You can see a small glimpse of her in the photos - I think her hand might be poking out of the carrier. Tom and I had so much fun - what a fantastic day!!!!

Happy 1 Month Birthday Sweetheart
Swing O'Matic or Swing O'Daddy?
It didn't take long for us to realize we needed to purchase a swing. Here is a picture of Tom swinging Lexi as she screamed for about an hour. He was so exhausted he couldn't stand anymore - I laughed so hard I cried. Daddy eventually was able to calm her and that's when we decided it was time to buy a baby swing. We took a trip to Babies R' Us first thing in the morning.
Grammy and Grandpa Nichol
We were lucky to have Grammy and Grandpa Nichol in town from Vermont this weekend to help out with little Lexi. We had a great time walking the streets of Chicago and enjoying the town. They also babysat for Katie and I on Saturday night. It gave us the chance to see some friends and have a dinner out. We ended up skipping the dinner because we missed Lexi and wanted to get home to see her. Thanks for all the help Grammy and Grandpa!!! Here is a picture of Grammy with Lexi in the Bjorn - Lexi was sound asleep for hours.

Lexi's Three Week Birthday!!!
We can't believe that it has been three weeks already, she is growing bigger every second. Lexi, Mommy and Daddy went out to Einsteins Bagel for breakfast and then went to the park bordering Lake Michigan in the afternoon. Lexi has been a bit of a beast the past week. She is starting to learn that she can get just about whatever she wants if she cries hard enough. Usually she just wants more of mommy's milk. Here is a picture of Lexi before we went out to breakfast. I wish I had one or two from the park, but forgot the camera.
I'm still trying to figure our Picasa web albums, and when I do I'll post all the pics that we take of the family!!!
